We’re looking for a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. You will play a key role in the delivery of the Aurrum Kids educational program and ensure all children have a learning environment catered to their interests, supporting them to be confident, capable and involved learners.
You will
- Work in our beautiful purpose-built centre with a warm and welcoming team, building a child-centred approach to set up creative, stimulating and age-appropriate learning experiences
- Bring your expertise in early childhood teaching to assist the Centre Manager in the development of the Centre’s programs and practices
- Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with the children, families, colleagues, and the wider centre community
- Create a warm, stimulating environment that invites learning through play
- Have ownership over the School Readiness Program and be critical in each child’s final Kindergarten or Pre-School year

About you
Your commitment, passion and enthusiasm will inspire a love of learning in all Aurrum children. You will help to guide our children, applying our interpretation of the National Qualify Framework to prepare them for their next steps in education. Most importantly, you will love teaching curious young minds about the community that we live in through real life experiences, excursions and incursions.
Within the centre, you’ll be flexible and a team player with excellent communication skills, able to use your leadership and influencing to foster effective working relationships with Educators and other team members.
Additionally, you will have:
- A Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Teaching (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Up-to-date teaching registration
- In depth knowledge of and practice in the application of the Early Years Framework and National Quality Standards
- An up to date working with children check (WWCC) and children protection certificate, or willingness to obtain
